As soon as you have successfully passed the test for your pleasure boat license, you can start enjoying water sports. For many people, water sports are part of it. On the Moselle alone, from Koblenz (Rhine) via Cochem and Bernkastel Kues to Trier, there are a total of 10 locks that you have to pass through. A lack of practical experience often leads to nervousness and stress. This does not have to be the case. PRACTICAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR PASSING LOCKS With our 7-meter-long training boat, we at the Rhine-Moselle boating school will show you how to lock properly and not let your boat get stuck or turn into a nautilus. WHEN & HOW? We sail almost 7 days a week. To keep waiting times at the locks as short as possible, it makes sense to hold this course on a working day. After you have booked, we will contact you by phone to arrange an appointment. During the 3-hour lock training we will try to pass through the boat lock and the large lock for commercial shipping at least once.
